The Personality;;
Nirvana,like his name says,seems to be a very mild-mannered,easy-going dog.He isn't easily bugged

by anything,except when he's attacked,then the old police dog instincts kick in.But otherwise if you

threaten him,it won't bother him and he'll just tell you to chill out.He doesn't take much seriously,and

treats life as a game.He is a bit of a hippie,prefering to relax and just be instead of fighting.He believes

in karma,so he won't do something that he knows could come back on him.

But he isn't a wuss,if you attack him,he'll fight to the ends of the earth with you,and usually come out a

winner,all that pent up bad karma and such.He is a quick,and speedy fighter,light on his paws and quick

to dodge attacks.He sees fighting as a game he has to win.

He is a day-dreamer,constantly dreaming of his life back in Long Beach,living with his hippie parents

and his best friend Dani California whom he met while traveling.He was around so much pot-smoke

that is caused him to be permanently hippie-like in demenor and a bit of an airhead.He tends to hang

around places where people smoke alot of the goofy grass.

The Looks;;
Nirvana is a handsome specimen of male GSD.He has a pretty well-muscled body,free from scars and

marks,and the main muscles are in his legs from walking long distances with his masters.He has a

long body,with powerful legs,average paws,and a long,bottlebrush tail.His pelt is pitch black,with eyes

like dancing red-gold flames.

He walks with a gentle swagger to his steps,seeming to be off in his own little world.He stands 23" at

the withers,with a weight of 50lbs,not bad for a dog his size.He's not by any means underweight,but still

thin.He has long,slightly shaggy fur,bat-like pricked ears,and a gaze that seems to drift to far away

places.

His voice isn't husky,but not feminine either,just right,and carries a Californian-hippie accent to it when

he speaks.He uses 'dude' and stuff a good majority of the time.He has the typical GSD looks despite his

odd coat.He has a small peace sign dyed into his left back hip in the color green.It must be because it

was human dye,but it's never grown up.He still wears his braided hemp collar with a large black dog tag

with the Nirvana band sign on one side and his name on the other.And he has a braided hemp bracelet

on his left fore-leg with a pucca shell on it.

The History;;
Nirvana was originally born Duke,to a family of herding dogs living on a farm out in Winsconsin.The

spring he was born,his masters had already had one litter born and couldn't afford to take care of his

litter,as well.He was put up for sale at the local county fair,him being the only black pup out of the

bunch,all his other brothers and sisters were of tan/black coloring.

He was two months old when he was sold,and he was the last adopted,chosen by a young bachelor

going into the police academy.He was then decided to be trained as a police dog.He went through all

the nessecary physical and mental testing to see if he had the capability of being trained.It was decided

that at five months of age,he would begin his training for a life of a police dog.He started his training and

excelled in the classes,but sadly,his master was killed in the line of duty,and up for sale again he went

at seven months old.

He was bought by another policeman and taken out to California.He was trained there until a year

old.When he turned a year old,he was hit in the head with a metal pipe and suffered mental damage

because of this.He remained normal for a few months,then at a year and a half of age,he bit his

commander and took off two of the man's fingers.He broke his chain and escaped into the city of Long

Beach,from whence he made his way to Los Angeles.There,tired and hungry he stumbled upon a small

store where a man and woman were outside smoking blunts.He sat outside beside the man and

woman,inhaling the smoke un-intentionally and becoming,well,high.

The man and woman decided to adopt the now two year old old male GSD.They took off his choke

chain,and got him a collar and dubbed him Nirvana.He took this name instead of Duke.He was given a

pretty collar and stayed with the two hippies.The man was Sunny and the girl Lilac.Together the three

moved into the store's upstairs apartment and lived there,the two constantly getting high.They listened to

Nirvana often(the band).They loved their little puppy and decided one night to take him to Woodstock with

them(see this was a new-and-updated Woodstock).There they met up with some friends of there's from

highschool who had just moved to California.I met their Golden Retriever Dani California.We became

fast friends and luckily her owners didn't move,too,far away from me.We were able to visit each other

often.But then our owners got into a huge argument and I wasn't allowed over anymore.So we hatched a

plan.

I've lived with my owners for a year now,but I just can't stay there anymore,not being able to see my baby

girl.Dani and I have decided to run away together,to join a pack and get back to our ancestorial

roots.Maybe now we can finally be together..and start our own little family.
