Frankie walked down the path in the forest home of his pack.His golden-hazel eyes watched in amazement at the love that seemed to just be so heavy in the air.Birds in the trees together,rabbits playing with each other and mating in the bushes,and it seemed even the flora was drinking in the love and growing in bright splashes along the path.
A low sigh escaped the ebony velveteen maw of the large Afghan male.His tail wagged slowly as he wandered aimlessly down the path.His eyes were filled slowly with tears.Was this how it was ment to be?Was he ment to be alone for the rest of his days?He was four already and had never experienced true love just an orgasmic rush of lust that commanded him.His heart had never been into loving anyone except for his children.Columbia and Rocky would always be there for him,and even Magenta and Riff Raff,though he was wary of their true intentions.
He walked at a bit swifter a pace as he headed deeper into the woods.He wanted to go see the sunrise over the city today and from one part of his land he could do just that.He curled his tail up over his back and trotted gently into the woods.He tried to ignore that hungry pawing at his stomach,it had been three days since he'd eaten last.Not because of the lack of prey,oh no,there was bountiful prey in the woods,he just simply didn't feel like eating.Yes,he'd been slightly depressed and it seemed his mood was going downhill at a rapid pace,causing him to snap at his loved ones,and he'd even left a nice mark on Riff Raff's side when the handyman woke him up after he'd just fallen asleep.
He sighed deeply as he walked over the last hill and arrived at a small cliff where he could lie and watch the sunrise over the city.He curled in a small ball,looking rather small and breakable in this state and sniffled as he watched the sun rise over the buildings,casting a bright pink glow over everything.He felt the tears start building and soon he was sobbing so hard he could hardly breathe.Why was this happening to him?What was going on in his mind?Even he didn't know.
