The sound of the ocean could be heard, the waves of the water crashing against the rocks and the soft sandy shore. There laid a way back from the water was a female german shepherd. The dog's eyes were closed, her head even laid upon her paws. This for the female was relaxing time. Even a dog needed space from the city life. This beach was the perfect oppurtunity to get that. Her ears laid flat against her head, in a relaxed position. It was pretty easy to tell she was asleep.
She moved her head, and crossed her paws one over the other laying her head over them again. This was only to get comfortable. Her nose twitched every once and awhile, while she slept. Her tail curled around her left hind leg, a growl even emitted from her sleep. What on earth could she be dreaming of? She gently laid on her side as the sun shown down on her fur warming her. The sound of the water was quite relaxing. It couldn't get any better than this.
Even as she lay there sleeping, she was quite the big german shepherd for being a female. At pretty one at that. One of her paws twitched as she slept soundly. Her dreams were consumed in chasing after chickens. These fond memories of her early puppyhood were replaying in her dreams. Her tail un-curled from around her back right hind leg and laid out acrossed the beach. The rays of the sun didn't even faze her. The sounds of each wave crashing against the shore put the dog at more at ease in her slumber.

Kemura, the great big lazy black lab, came padding down onto the beach. As the Alpha of a piece of this land, it means to explore all of it and get as many friends as possible, for you never know when you'll need allies and friends. This place reminded him of his new home, and after a long hard walk, well actually to him it was hard since he was lazy and all, he just wanted to lay and relax.
He does so, plopping down near where the waves were rushing up and clashing against the rocks, loving the sounds and the smells of the water so close. He murrs, tail wagging ever so gently. It wasn't till he had stayed there for about 10 minutes that he looked over and noticed there was someone else already there, and sleeping to or atleast he thought she was sleep, she was on her side with her eyes close and growling some as if she was dreaming.
He thinks some of maybe going over and laying down beside her, then shakes at the idea. For one who knows how she would react, she could be mean and cruel and think he was attacking and attack back just back she wanted to, or she might be scared and run away. In truth he was just too lazy to get up and move over to her now that he was already laying down aswell.

As the dream turned into a nightmare, the female sprang up onto her feet waking up. She panted a bit. Her eyes opened, the reveal of pretty icy blues that had been hiding when she was asleep. She shook her head. It was only a dream. She padded up to the water and lapped some of it with her tongue. At first she didn't notice the lab. Her tail slightly wagged as now she felt refreshed. She turned her head looking at the view. It was so gorgeous.
Her eyes finally came upon, the black lab. Her ears immeaditley stood up, and she tilted her head in a curious fashion. How long had he been here? She blinked a few times. He seemed laid-back and not to threatening. She sniffed the air to better get his scent. Smells of the salty water came fresh into her nose as well. She gently moved towards him with caution and sat near him, but not to close as to disturb him. She didn't feel like starting a fight on the beach. Especially with a dog that looked like his a match for her.
Her muzzle turned to look out towards the ocean. Her tail wagged a bit more. Without even glancing at him, she gently spoke," Isn't this place beautiful? I love how peaceful it is.. it's just one of those spots to get away from it all..." She was merely trying to start a conversation with him. The feeling of the cool water on her paws felt nice as well.

Kemura would watch her, this lazy dog staying quiet till she finally noticed him after she had gone to get a drink. He chuckles at her reaction and watches her more as she moves over to sit next to him. He would listen to her, finding her voice very sweet as he nods. His own tail continues to wag as he too looks over at the ocean.
"Indeed, a peaceful place, a place to help you relax. Even a place to come to when your made to help you cool down and relax. It's very beautiful, just like my new home." He would say before finally looking away from the water and looking at her now, saying. "My name is Kemura by the way, may I ask what your name is?" Wishing to know as much as possible, but trying to be as polite as possible aswell

She nodded. She agreed with what he said as well. He seemed like a nice dog, her icy blue eyes met his eyes. Her right ear twitched just a little out of mere habit. Her fluffy tail was wagging slowly due to her being peaceful at the moment. She crossed her two front paws over the other," My name is Keyda. It's a pleasure to meet you Kemura." Her eyes traveled over him. As if she was studying him. Finding still no need to be threatened by him, the muscles in her shoulders relaxed.
"Your new home? Where exactly do you live?" She asked in a curious tone. She may have not been here long, but she had a grasp of the land in the city. She hadn't settled down in one particular area yet. She wanted to belong to a pack, but didn't know the packs in the area very well yet. Her tail began to wag a little bit faster.

Kemura chuckles some as he watches her. "Please, the pleasure is all mine." he murred out to her. Then he thought about it some before looking down the path he came from, saying "Down that way, there is a place where a river of fresh clean water runs through, and in the middle there is a very beautiful bridge on it that lets us animals get across the river without having to go in it and get wet. That is my home."
He looks back at her when he was done talking, looking at her and studying her aswell it seems. But really if she was not evil or mean, which she couldn't be with her sweet and caring voice aswell as with how polite she was, there really was no reason to study her much. "Since I have told you where I live, isn't it only fair you tell me where you live Miss. Keyda?"

She glanced where he was looking. So he lived at the bridge? That was quite the spot he had chosen. It must have been peaceful there as well," Let me guess... you've started a pack than I pressume?" She tilted her head to the side. That's what he heard most dogs were doing. Forming packs in those four areas, it wouldn't surprise her if he was. She had gone passed it, but thought of were he called home a beautiful place.
She blinked when he had asked where she lived. She looked at him with a small smile," Well, actually I haven't particularly settled down anywhere. I've wanted to join one of the packs around but I know nothing of them. If I were to go in on of there territories I wouldn't want to be attacked...." She paused for a moment. She wanted to belong to a family-oriented pack.
She stared out towards the ocean once more continuning," I really want to settle down. Find a mate, have puppies.. that sort of thing. It's been a big dream of mine to find someone special, and to be called mom. That would be a wonder when it does come true..."

Blinking some, Kemmy would look at her and soon chuckles as he nods. "Indeed, tho so far it is just me there. Anyone is allowed to come into my land, you don't need to be a pack member. I want it to be a place of peace and paradise. The pack will be more of... the peace keepers, making sure everyone has food, making sure no one causes any trouble and that everyone is safe in case another pack tries to fight and bully this place. I wish to think of it more as a neutral place with my pack as it's protector. Any that need help or is in trouble is always welcome."
That was his dream tho, and it might not come true. It could all go wrong, or no one might like it, or one of the other packs could grow larger and attack while his was still small and weak. So many things could go wrong. He was lazy tho, so usually only looked at the problem that was here and now, which was finding pack members and letting people know his lands were open to anyone that were able to obey the rules.
He looks up at her, thinking some before saying "I see, well you are the first person I have met so far, so sadly I can't point to anyone else and say they would make a good mate, but I can say if you ever need a home, mine is always open to you." smiling some. "It would break my heart to have to see someone as pretty as you not have such a nice place to live in. At least till you find a mate." he adds in the last part with a chuckle. He was not one to settle down with someone and have children, at least not yet. He might be lazy, but he knew what had to be done before he could relax that much.

"Oh your the only one there? Your pack sounds like my kind of pack. Peaceful just like I like it." She was currently thinking of joining it. She was a peaceful dog, but when it came to an arguement she would turn aggressive very fast and very protective. That was just something that ran through her veins, passed on from each generation of her purebred family. She sat up, tired of laying down for the moment.
Just how he described his pack perked her interest in joining it. Or at least hanging around his pack lands until deciding. Either way she knew she'd be happy. She gently swiped her paw against the soft sand, looking back at him. It was nice to find a dog so kind and thinking of others. She was pretty sure whatever rules that he had for his land, she could easily follow.
She met his gaze once more," Well, that's true. It's a different topic meeting potential mates that is. Though it's very kind of you to offer your home to me." If a dog could blush she would be blushing so much right now. Did he just refer to her as being pretty? It was nice to hear that," Aww, thanks. That's so sweet of you to say... I think I'll consider joining your pack. Might as well keep you company.." Her lips curled slightly revealing a sweet smile.

Kemmy would nod some, but does warn her with. "Tho peaceful It's hard work, especially right now with so little people in the pack. Food needs to be gathered for everyone that will soon be living there.... hopefully.... Along with wood, some grass and leaves, herbs, and berries aswell. It will be peaceful when there is more people helping, but for now there is alot to be done. A paradise isn't made just by wishing it will forever stay that way."
He was right, after all how will the people living there eat if they couldn't go out and hunt, what would happen to the sick if there was no herbs, who would defend those being bullied and harassed. He needed people for those, but so far it was just him. "I do not think you should just if you just want to settle down with someone and have pups, maybe later when there are lots more people, but surely not now. Any of the packs are probly looking for people to help them, so best for you to not join any right now."
He thought about it some and nods slightly before saying "For you, you should wait and just explore, look at all the lands, and watch the packs growing in each land. Then when they have a firm foundation, then you should look to see which you like and which seems most peaceful to live in." he nods to his idea. "That way you can watch each of the packs grow, how they work, and see which you like."
Then chuckles some and murrs. "I can't help being sweet to such a pretty lady such as yourself Miss. Keyda. Can you blame this old dog for finding such a young lady beautiful?" he calls himself old but he wasn't, except maybe because of his laziness he feels old.

Keyda nodded her head. She understood that a pack actually took work. Like the old saying, Rome wasn't built in a day. "That's understood. Though I think, I'm willing to make the commitment. After-all when your traveling around, sure it's exiciting but after seeing the same old thing all the time. It would get pretty boring..." She gently stridded up the water, lapping from it once more to get a drink. She looked back at him, her tail high in the air. Being a loner did have its advantages though.
There were no rules, hardly any boundaries, and best of all no authority. These things were neccessary to make life more stable. She knew that. She didn't mind it too much. As he talked about her dream of finally settling down, that and the packs she listened intently. After he spoke she nodded yet again," Yeah that's true. Though I'mnot the loner type if you haven't noticed. Dreams can wait, that dream of mine will come in all due time. Though I'll tell you what. I won't join your pack just yet, but I'll try to help out in anyway I can. That way, I'm not alays wandering and you have some help to building your pack... What do you say?"
She paused a moment rotting back over to him standing in front of him. Her icy blues gazed into his eyes," Yeah exploring sounds fun but traveling often is a real adventure. Don't get me wrong, though it's nice to have some stability of settlement in your life. Though I think that idea of me just hanging around is a good one indeed..." She looked up at the sky a moment. Watching the fluffy clouds roll by ever so silently. She looked back at him, a smile appeared.
She chuckled. He was quite the flatterer she noticed. She laid down in front of him, her tail wagging. "Well, it's nice to hear that from someone. Though you seem young.. I bet your going to have all the ladies bowing at your feet when you get your pack going. Heh. Than I might even slightly be jealous with a good male like you around..." She chuckled once more.

Kemura would nod, chuckling some. "Yup, the packs are going to be all work and no play for now till they build up to be bigger. Going to be harder for from what I have seen there are still very few dogs around, others stuff I have heard of this place or have and are working their way here from around the world." Not really the world but it was big in the eyes of a dog that can't fly or take cars everywhere.
He watched her as she went over to get another drink, and couldn't help taking a tiny small peak under her tail when she lifted it high before quickly looking away to her face that was looking at him. He murrs some and nods. "Yes, it is best to not have any boundaries around you, which is why people are free to come into my lands and live without being bound to my pack or our pack rules. Just normal everyday rules that everyone should live by. Mostly just get along and don't kill each other really."
Then he chuckles some and murrs more, nodding some. "I may look young, but I have been told I am as wise as and old dog, and man do I feel as lazy as one." then shakes his head with a chuckle. "They can bow all they want, most likely I won't be taking on a mate unless I have to, to help the pack grow and such. But even before that, I have much much work to do. If I were to have children, I would want to be able to be there for them and raise them without being busy and going away to run the pack all the time and being away from them."

Keyda nodded. There was no time at all for the newly-formed packs to be messing around. She agreed with everything he was saying," Sure it's going to be hard. With the less amount of dogs, it's almost a possiblity that the packs are going to be competing for more members at the beginning. To seem like the top pack... you know? Though I could be very wrong on that though... it's just a thought." She sat down now. She gently began licking the water off of her paw. She placed it back down on the ground calmly.
"I like your thinking, Kemmy. Simple and down to the point. Mind if I call you that?" She chuckled a little, a small sincere smile appearing on her lips. She found it quite cute to call him Kemmy rather than Kemura. Just something her to signfy they were on a friend-to-friend basis for now. She sniffed the air again, the smell of the salt in the water filled her nose. She looked out towards the water and looked back at him. She wrinkled her nose and turned away from him and sneezed. She looked back at him," Excuse me. Didn't mean to do that..." One of her ears perked itself up while the other hung loosely on the side of her head at the moment.
"Of course you look young, and very good-looking too. I honestly haven't seen a decently good-looking dog around here...." She hadn't seen to many around here due to the fact she had been exploring the more torn up areas first," Though I'm not saying there aren't any. Just so far that I've seen anyways." Hearing him talk about a mate, the other ear perked up instantly," That's true. After-all you would want to get pack up and running first too. Your one smart dog... thinking things through before you do. Most dogs react on pure instinct. This is helpful during a fight, but when you have to think logically it doesn't help much at all..."
She came back up to him sliding past him, her tail slid acrossed his nose in a flirting manner. She sat down diagonal of him playing innocent.

Kemura chuckles some to her and nods. "Some might be trying to be the top pack, but not me. I just want one big enough to be able to defend itself as well as be able to take care of itself. The more the better, yes, but I don't need more. I want people to join my pack only if they want to help others, for as I said I want my land to be like a paradise for us dogs. A place for them to come and relax the day or night away, to have fun and be safe."
Then he smirks some and nods as she turned and sneezed, saying "It's ok. I don't think anyone wants to sneeze on purpose, especially around someone they are friends with." He was finding it kinda cute tho. Then he listens to her before adding to her. "Yes well, I guess some put it as, tho my body is young my heart and soul are ancient and wise. Also they might not be good when fighting in a large group, when fighting one on one it's better to have tactics and plans rather than go in blind and lose."
He watches her, then blinks when she moves back up to him and then slide past him while letting her tail slide across his nose. He blinks more then smirks and shakes his head, getting lazily he would walk over to her and sit beside her, asking slyly. "Why Miss. Keyda. Are you trying to flirt with me?"

She softly moved her right paw through the sand. Listening to every word he had to say. A paradise for dogs eh? For any dog that would perk an interest jus hearng the word "paradise". She continued listening to him. She nodded," Well, what you say seems true. You a very wise dog... Most dogs I've met in my life don't think logically. It amazes me. There may times when my instincts say,'I don't like that dog... they approach me there dead'. Yet when I get ot know the dog.. I learn different. There's a time for reasonable thinking and instincts.." She stopped moving her paw through the sand. Her tail curled around her right leg.
She watched him come up and lay beside her. She blinked, but a smirk formed. When he asked whether or not she was flirting with him, she blinked fast a few times. Yet a confident smile came to her lips," Can't a girl flirt? After-all its kind of hard for me not too... Heh. Possibly flirting... is it working?" Her eyes gazed into his. Confidence flickered through her icy blue orbs.
