Johnny, here (capitalization optional) and I'm the first person to introduce myself. How shocking, since I was the last person to join the site.
Weird.
Anyways, I'm eighteen and I'm a girl, and my name isn't actually Johnny - it's something more girly that I don't like so I'm not going to tell anyone. I got the name Johnny from my AIM screen name, "singitjohnny," which should actually be written out as, "Sing it, Johnny!" which about expresses my thoughts when John Lennon (from the Beatles, you know) sings the song "Twist and Shout." And that's the story behind my name.
I live in Florida, USA, and I spell things the British way because that's the way my old-fashioned, Irish-taught teachers in Catholic school told me to spell things. It was Catholic school. They're weird there. I don't relate to them much anymore. Also, I might slip in and out of this spelling habit because when I got out of Catholic school, regular Public school started telling me it was wrong and kind of broke the habit out of me. After I graduated high school, I started it back up again.
I like writing quite a bit (i.e. more than anything ever), though my style for story writing and my style for roleplay writing are drastically different so if you ever saw a piece of writing that I've done, you probably wouldn't recognise it as being from regular, flower-prose-free ol' me. One of these days I'd like to create a character I could use my creative writing style on, but for now that particular character eludes me.
I like old music - rock'n'roll from the 50's/60's, the Beatles, the Who, all those old bands your parents listened to, David Bowie, 80's music and 90's music that reminds me of my childhood. Also, a song or two from today, but not that many because I don't relate to the styles of music very much these days.
I love Hugh Laurie, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson, and a whole bunch of comedians because laughter = the best thing. I especially like dry humour and sarcasm.
I also enjoy puns quite a lot.
the end.
Weird.
