She licked the side of his muzzle, "I didn't know racy like this, big boy; taking advantage of poor ol' me." She raised her brows and let out a hum of laughter, "You wouldn't do anything... bad now, would you?"
Elam gave a warm laugh, "Discribe bad," he tryed to nudge the nape of her neck, but blocked by the female's spiked collar, "That will be annoying," he unattached the collar with his teeth and threw it across the patch of grass. He turned back and looked into her chocolate eyes.

The morning sun burned on the males's dark grey back. His head slowly rose up, and then back down, fur tickling his nose. Elam's eyes fluttered open. He didn't know where he was for a moment, until a yellow studded collar caught his eye. Last night flooded back into his memory, making a faint smile spred across his muzzle. He yawned while getting up, too see his pillow for the night was Thora's side. He gave a quiet laugh. The grass was moist between his pads while he walked to the edge of the patch. His body popped when he streached. There was a shuffling sound behind him.
"Good morning, Thora," he said warmly, without looking back.

Elam gave a warm laugh in response. His voice made her melt a little inside. "Describe bad." His light eyes glinted with a hint of mischievous intent. The male lowered his head. Instead of his warm touch, there was a pause. "That will be annoying."
Thora tilted her head in question. He tinkered with her studded collar for a moment. It slid off her neck and the male tossed across the grass. "Gee, let's hope taking off collars isn't the only thing you're good at." She giggled - one to match those of the dogs in the abandoned apartment building.
_--=~*~=--_
The elkhound yawned. She blinked sleep from her eyes and stared at the landscape. This didn't look like the inside of her fallen sky scrapper. She was nestled down in a patch of grass, the sun slowly warming the earth. Thora rose to her paws and stretched, wiggling her toes. She gave her pelt a good shake and stopped in surprise. The familiar sound of her collar rattling was gone. The soft fur that her collar normally rested on tickled. The female spotted her collar lying in a heap like a coiled snake across the patch of grass.
A little heat swelled up in her face as she remembered why it wasn't around her neck anymore. What was there to be embarrassed about? He had probably taken off already. That was the way these one-night-stand things worked: pretend you liked each other, make love, then book it when the sun rises. Thora's heart fell a little. He didn't seem like that kind of male. She was about to go over and retrieve her accessory when a dark gray shape appeared in her peripheral.
"Good morning, Thora." Elam looked noble sitting in front of the rising sun.
He's still here? Her ears perked up. "It's not exactly 'good' if it means the rest of the day is going to be hot." Her voice had an amused tone to it. She padded across the grass and plopped down beside the male. "It's a pretty sun rise, though."
Even if he stayed for now, they would have to part ways eventually, wouldn't they? Thora had a pack to look after, small as it was, and she was sure Elam must have some other important business to attend to. Ah well. She sighed contentedly and rested her head against his shoulder. "Before you leave, house-pet, I have to ask you to help me put my collar back on. I'm afraid I don't know how to do those things myself."

"It's not exactly 'good' if it means the rest of the day is going to be hot," she said with a amused tone. Elam snickered, she always had to point out the negative things. The grass brushed her paws when she padded over next to him. She sat next to him, close enough for the tips of their thick fur to touch. "It's a pretty sun rise, though."
Indeed it was, it painted the dull landscape with bright oranges and pinks. The golden beams warming his fur. Watching this, being next to the person he loved. He wished this moment could last forever. But, with hits to his heart, he knew she couldn't stay here. She was an alpha, her pack needed her. But, what would he do? Go back and fall asleep back at his den? Maybe catch a few prey? His life going back to dull.
She placed her head on his shoulder, "Before you leave, house-pet, I have to ask you to help me put my collar back on. I'm afraid I don't know how to do those things myself," she said, like reading his mind. "Uh, yeah. Sure," he said dryly, head turning, looking for the studded collar. It was curled across the grass, giving a faint glow, "Well, I am not sure if I know how to put it back on," he said, padding toward it. He clenched it in his jaws, careful not to touch one of the spikes, then turned around and padded back to Thora.
He fiddled with it around her neck, till it gave a faint click, "There," he whispered to himself. She turned around to face him, "Well..." he said, unknowing what to do. Leave?

"Uh, yeah. Sure," he said. She could feel his head turning as he looked for her collar. "Well, I am not sure if I know how to put it back on."
Elam rose to his paws and padded to get it. Thora kept some part of her muzzle touching his shoulder until she was about to fall over. She missed his warmth and scent already. What would it be like to go an entire day without him? You did it before you met him. But now that she had? The male returned with her trinket and proceeded to refasten it around her neck. She sat patiently still.
"There," he whispered. Thora gave her head a shake, her collar rattling. She turned to face him and gave a thankful smile. "Well..." The mood grew awkward.
"If you don't have anywhere to go, you could come back with me," the female stopped and blushed faintly. "I mean, if you want. It would be... fun to have you around."
She wasn't going to admit that leaving his presence would be torturous... at least not in a very frank way. It was hard - males could be so thick sometimes. She pondered if her subtle message would get across. A small voice gnawed upon her conscience, badgering her to just tell him the truth. But the female didn't want to sound too forward about it...
The elkhound sighed, admitting defeat to her heart. "What I mean is," she looked at her paws "I really like you and I don't want you to leave."

"If you don't have anywhere to go, you could come back with me," the female paused, "I mean, if you want. It would be... fun to have you around."
Elam's ears shot up. His heart sped, like it's been waiting for this question. He was tempted to burst out and say yes. But he held it back, not wanting to embarrass himself. He pictured himself with her. Waking up beside her every morning, seeing her daily. Like the emotions of last night was put into repeat.
Thora sighed, "What I mean is," she stared at her paws, "I really like you and I don't want you to leave," a warm smile spread across his muzzle, and gave a thinking hum, even though he knew the answer.
He got closer to her, resting the tip of his muzzle on her forehead, "Of course, love," he said warmly, "I have been waiting to see this almighty 'The Cracked'" he said with a little taunt in his voice.

Elam hummed, clearly amused with her question. It put her off that he might be taking her less than seriously. The male pressed his nose into her forehead and she let out an angry puff of air at his neck fur.
"Of course, love. I've been waiting to see this almighty 'The Cracked.'"
Thora pushed his muzzle off with a rough, but loving gesture and a wide smirk on her face. "Just don't piss yourself with excitement, house-pet."
She rubbed her head into the crook of his neck, pressing her coarse gray fur against his. The elk hound slipped slowly past him. She turned her head back to him with a growl and flipped her tail against his maw. Thora strutted off, waving her hips with a certain sway that seems inborn in all females.
"I'm not going to wait up if your pads are too soft from your spoiled life of luxury to tolerate the concrete."

"Just don't piss yourself with excitement, house-pet." she said with a huff, while pushing his muzzle off her. A smirk formed on her muzzle.
She rubbed her head against the nape of his neck. The female brushed past him, her sent made his tail pumble the ground behind him. He made sure some part of his body was touching hers. She gazed back at him with a growl and softly smacked his muzzle with her curled tail. The Elk Hound continued to trot past him, her hips waving. Elam kept his eyes on her.
"I'm not going to wait up if your pads are too soft from your spoiled life of luxury to tolerate the concrete." she said, her lovely coat shining under the rays of the rising sun.
The male rolled his eyes at her comment, "Oh, Come on. I am not that pampered" he smiled, and started padding next to Thora, "You got to admit I can get rough," he nudged Thora's shoulder. He felt slightly proud of seducing the female, he always thought she would rather chew off his muzzle then to be with him.
They padded in silence for awhile, Elam unknowing how to start the conversation again. "Uh... So, how long have you been leading your pack?"
